Riding Lessons
We cater for all abilities, from beginner to advanced competition riders and have several riding options available, including private and group lessons on the flat or jumping.
We also have a popular cross-country course that you can experience with one of our instructors on your own horse.
Lessons can be booked with us from Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Safety and the welfare of our horses are paramount, so all adult riders new to Shardeloes will start by having an assessment lesson. The assessment comprises 15 minutes on our mechanical horse, Tigger, followed by 30 minutes on a real horse, or if you prefer to do a 30-minute assessment on just Tigger, you can. He is extremely popular for clients returning to ride after an injury or for boosting confidence.

We run lessons throughout the week suitable for all abilities. Discounts are available for Pony Club members. Membership to the Pony Club costs £41 per year.
Semi-Private Lesson
For a group of riders that wish to ride exclusively together rather than join one of our groups. Up to 3 children. Friends or siblings.

For riders who can walk and trot independently through to advanced. Groups are made up of similar abilities and ages.

Our opening times are Tuesday to Friday 8.00 am until 8.00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8.00 am until 5.00 pm.
Please note that our 10% discount ‘off peak’ charges are only in effect from between 8am and 4pm Tuesdays to Fridays.
